JP8475/9475 Formation of Character and Virtue in Catholic Education

This subject presents an understanding of character formation within the Aristotelian tradition of moral development based on the acquisition of virtues, understood as good habits established for each of the domains of action of the human person. On these principles, practical strategies for establishing and analysing a school culture of character formation are examined. Students will be equipped with a body of this knowledge which will enable them to undertake professional work in the field and serve as a basis for further learning.
